Ἐπὶ κεφαλὴν δ᾽ ἡ γένεσίς ἐστι τοῖς ζῴοις πᾶσιν ἡ κατὰ φύσιν διὰ τὸ τὰ ἄνω τοῦ ὀμφαλοῦ μείζω ἔχειν ἢ τὰ κάτω. καθάπερ οὖν ἐν ζυγοῖς ἠρτημένα ἐξ αὐτοῦ ῥέπει ἐπὶ τὸ βάρος. ἔχει δὲ τὰ μείζω πλεῖον βάρος.
