Οἱ δὲ κέπφοι ἁλίσκονται τῷ ἀφρῷ· κάπτουσι γὰρ αὐτόν, διὸ προσραίνοντες θηρεύουσιν. Ἔχει δὲ τὴν μὲν ἄλλην σάρκα εὐώδη, τὸ δὲ πυγαῖον μόνον θινὸς ὄζει. Γίνονται δὲ πίονες.
