Καὶ ἐν Σικελίᾳ δέ φασι καὶ ἐν Ἰταλίᾳ τούς γαλεώτας θανάσιμον ἔχειν τὸ δῆγμα, καὶ οὐχ ὥσπερ τοὐς παῤ ἡμῖν ἀσθενὲς καὶ μαλακόν. Εἶνα δὲ καὶ μυῶν γένος ἐφιπτάμενον, ὃ ὅταν δάκη, ἀποθνήσκειν ποιὲ.
