τὸ δὲ ἱππικὸν σύμπαν κατὰ ἴλας καὶ λόχους ὀκτὼ συντεταγμένον ἐφεστάτω τοῖς πεζοῖς, τὸ μὲν τοῖς κέρασιν ἑκατέροις προβολὴν ἔχον τοὺς ὁπλίτας πρὸ σφῶν καὶ τοὺς τοξότας, λόχοι δύο· τὸ δὲ τῇ μέσῃ φάλαγγι, λόχοι ἕξ μημιον.
