Ὠιὰ δὲ ἰατροῖς καὶ ζωγράφοις καὶ τοῖς ἀπʼ αὐτῶν ποριζομένοις συμφέρει· τοῖς δὲ λοιποῖς τὰ μὲν ὀλίγα κέρδους ἐστὶ σημαντικὰ διὰ τὸ τρόφιμον, τὰ δὲ πολλὰ φροντίδος καὶ ἀνίας, πολλάκις δὲ καὶ δικῶν, ὅτι τὰ ἐξ αὐτῶν γεννώμενα διʼ ὅλου σκαλεύει καὶ τὰ κεκρυμμένα ἐρευνᾷ. Ψιλοῦσθαι καὶ πιττοῦσθαι βλάβας καὶ ζημίας σημαίνει.
