ὁ μὲν γὰρ θεὸς κτίζει καλῶν τὰ μὴ ὄντα εἰς τὸ εἶναι οὐδενὸς ἐπιδεόμενος, οἱ δὲ ἄνθρωποι τὴν ὑποκειμένην ὕλην ἐργάζονται εὐξάμενοι πρότερον καὶ τὴν ἐπιστήμην τοῦ ποιεῖν λαβόντες παρὰ τοῦ πάντα δημιουργήσαντος θεοῦ διὰ τοῦ ἰδίου λόγου.
