εἰ γὰρ ὅλως ὁ θεὸς πατήρ ἐστι λόγου, διατί μὴ καὶ ὁ γεννώμενος υἱός ἐστιν; υἱὸς δὲ πάλιν τοῦ θεοῦ τίς ἂν εἴη ἢ ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ; καὶ γὰρ οὐ πολλοὶ λόγοι, ἵνα μὴ ἕκαστος ἐνδεής, ἀλλὰ εἷς ὁ λόγος, ἵνα τέλειος μόνος αὐτός, καὶ ὅτι ἑνὸς ὄντος τοῦ θεοῦ μίαν ἔδει καὶ τὴν εἰκόνα εἶναι αὐτοῦ, ἥτις ἐστὶν ὁ υἱός.
