Εἰ μὲν οὖν θαρροῦσιν οἷς φρονοῦσι καὶ λέγουσι, προφερέτωσαν γυμνὴν τὴν αἵρεσιν καὶ δεικνύτωσαν ἐξ αὐτῆς εἴ τινα νομίζουσιν ἢ ἐκ τῶν γραφῶν ἔχειν ἢ κἂν ἀνθρώπινόν τινα λογισμὸν εὐσεβῆ πρὸς ἀπολογίαν, εἰ δὲ μηδέν τι τοιοῦτον ἔχουσι, σιωπάτωσαν.
