ΤΥΜΠΑΝΙΣΤΑΙ.
Οἷα παίζουσιν φίλαι
παρθένοι Λυδῶν κόραι,
κοῦφα πηδῶσαι κόμαν,
κἀνακρούουσαι χεροῖν,
Ἐφεσίαν παρ' Ἄρτεμιν
κάλλιστ' ἄν, καὶ τοῖν ἰσχίοιν
τὸ μὲν κάτω τὸ δ' αὖ
εἰς ἄνω ἐξαίρουσα,
οἷα κίγκλος ἅλλεται.
