Πῶς ὑπάρχει; — Ἅ μὲν φύσει, ἃ δὲ τῇ ἡμετέρᾳ χρήσει. Ποῖα οὗν φύσει; — Αἵ τε ὀξύτητες καὶ βαρύτητες καὶ τὰ διαστήματα. Ποῖα δὲ τῇ ἡμετέρφ χρ σήει; — Ἡ περὶ τοὺς φθόγγουϚ μελοποιΐα.
