Δεχομένοις μὲν ἡμῖν ἃ γράφεις, χαρά· ἀπαιτουμένοις δὲ πρὸς ἃ γράφεις ἀντεπιστέλλειν, ἀγών. τί γὰρ ἂν εἴποιμεν πρὸς οὕτως ἀττικίζουσαν γλῶτταν, πλὴν ὅτι ἁλιέων εἰμὶ μαθητής; ὁμολογῶ καὶ φιλῶ.
