Ἐξὸν γυναῖκ' ἔχοντα κατακεῖσθαι καλήν,
καὶ Λεσβίου χυτρῖδε λαμβάνειν δύο·
ὁ φρόνιμός ἐστι τοῦτο, τοῦτο τἀγαθόν.
Ἐπίκουρος ἔλεγε ταῦθ' ἃ νῦν ἐγὼ λέγω.
εἰ τοῦτον ἔζων πάντες ὃν ἐγὼ ζῶ βίον,
οὔτ' ἄτοπος ἦν ἂν οὔτε μοιχὸς οὐδὲ εἷς.
