σὲ τὸν βολαῖς νιφοκτύποις δυσχείμερον
ναίονθ' ἕδραν, θηρονόμε Πάν, χθόν' Ἀρκάδων,
κλήσω γραφῇ τῇδ' ἐν σοφῇ πάγκλειτ' ἔπη
συνθείς, ἄναξ, δύσγνωστα μὴ σοφῷ κλύειν,
μωσοπόλε θήρ, κηρόχυτον ὃς μείλιγμ' ἱεῖς.
