Γενναδίου. Σὺ δέ μοι καὶ ἀπαρχὴν μὲν νοήσεις, τὸν δεσπότην Χριστὸν, ὡς ἐξ αὐτῶν τὸ κατὰ σάρκα γενόμενον, καὶ διὰ τῆς ἀναστάσεως, τῆς υἱοθεσίας κατάρξαντα· ῥίζαν δὲ, τὸν Ἀβραὰμ, ὡς πρῶτον τοῦ γένους παντός· φύραμα δὲ καὶ κλάδους, σύμπαντα τὸν λαόν.
