Θεοδώρου. Διὰ γὰρ τοῦ εἰπεῖν κατάλειμμα, τὸ εὐαρίθμητον τῶν παρὰ Ἰουδαίοις σωθησομένων ἐδήλωσεν· οὓς κατάλειμμα εἶπεν, ὅτι ἐκ τοῦ πλήθους αὐτῶν ἐκλεξάμενος αὐτοὺς ὡς βελτίους, κατέλιπεν ἑαυτῷ καὶ ἀφώρισεν. Λόγος γὰρ συντελῶν καὶ συντέμνων ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ ὅτι λόγον συντετμημένον ποιήσει Κύριος ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.
