Καὶ ὁ Ἄγγελος ὃν εἶδον. Κύριος μὲν κα οὐδενὸς ἔχων μείζονος ὀμόσαι, καθ’ ἑαυτοῦ ὄμνυσιν, Ἄγγελοι δὲ ὡς κτίσματα, κατὰ τοῦ κτίσαντος, τὰ ὑπ’ αὐτῶν λεγόμενα διὰ τὴν ἡμετέραν ἀπιστίαν πιστούμενοι· ὄμνυσι δὲ χρόνον μηκέτι εἶναι ἢ ἐν τῷ μέλλοντι, ἐν ᾧτ’ οὐ χρόνον ἡλίῳ μετρούμενον, ἀλλὰ ζωὴ αἰώνιος, ἀριθμὸν χρονικὸν ὑπερβαίνουσα. ἣ χρόνος μακρὸς οὐκ ἔσται μετὰ τὰς ἓξ φωνὰς τοῦ Ἀγγέλου τοῦ πληρωθῆναι τὰ προφητευθέντα.
