Ἀλλ’ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις. Ἐκ τούτων σημαίνειν οἶμαι τὴν τῶν ἓξ αἰώνων παραδρομὴν ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τοῦ ἑβδόμου αἰῶνος· διὰ τῆς ἑβδόμης σημαινομένης σάλπιγγος, τὰ ἐκ τῶν ἁγίων προφητῶν εἰρημένα πρὸ τῆς συντελείας συμβήσεσθαι πέρας δέχεσθαι. εὐαγγελισμὸς δὲ ἡ τούτων ἐκπλήρωσις, διὰ τὴν ἡτοιμασμένην τοῖς ἁγίοις ἀνάπαυσιν. Καὶ ἡ φωνὴ ἢν ἤκουσα. Κἀνταῦθα ἄλλη τις ἀγγελικὴ ὑπερτέρα δύναμις τῷ εὐαγγελιστῇ ἐγκελεύεσθαι φαίνεται, διὰ τῆς βίβλου τὴν γνῶσιν τῶν χρησμοδοτηθέντων ὑποδέξασθαι.
