Καὶ βλέπουσιν ἐκ τῶν λαῶν. Οἱ ἅπαξ, φησὶ, προκατειλημμένοι τοῖς ψευδέσι τοῦ Ἀντιχρίστου τέρασι, καὶ τὸ θεοστυγὲς αὐτοῦ ὄνομα ταῖς καρδίαις ἀνεξάλειπτον ἐγγράψαντες, ἔκ τε Ἰουδαίων, ἔκτε ἐθνῶν, ταφῆναι μὲν τὰ ἅγια σώματα κωλύσουσιν, ἐπὶ δὲ τῇ ἀπαλλαγῇ τῶν μαστίγων, ἃς πρὸς ἐπιστροφὴν προσέφερον, εὐφρανθήσονται. Καὶ μετὰ τὰς τρεῖς ἡμέρας. Ἰσαρίθμους ἡμέρας τοῖς ἔτεσι τῆς αὐτῶν προφητείας νεκρωθέντες φησὶν, ἀναστήσονται, καὶ εἰς οὐρανὸν ἐν τῷ δεσποτικῷ ὀχήματι τῇ νεφέλῃ ἀνελεύσονται, φόβος καὶ κατάπληξις τοῖς ὁρῶσι γινόμενοι.
