Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν φωνὴ μεγάλη. Ἡ ἀγγελικὴ φωνὴ οὐρανόθεν γέγονεν, τουτέστι τὸ θεῖον ἐτελέσθη πρόσταγμα. αἱ δὲ ἀστραπαὶ καὶ βρονταὶ καὶ φωναὶ τὸ καταπληκτικὸν τῶν γινομένων, καὶ τὴν μέλλουσαν τοῦ Χριστοῦ παρουσίαν σημαίνουσιν. ὁ δὲ σεισμὸς τὴν τῶν ὄντων μεταποίησιν κατὰ τὸν Ἀπόστολον Παῦλον δηλοῖ.
