Καὶ χάλαζα μεγάλη. Τὴν χάλαζαν ἅτε οὐρανόθεν κατερχομένην, τὴν θεήλατον ὀργὴν ἄνωθεν ἐρχομένην νενοήκαμεν· τὸ δὲ ταλαντιαῖον αὐτῆς, τὸ τέλειον, διὰ τὴν ἐν ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις ἀκρότητα καὶ βαρύτητα, ἧς χαρακτηριστικὸν τὸ τάλαντον. τὸ δὲ μὴ πρὸς μετάνοιαν, ἀλλὰ βλασφημίαν χωρῆσαι τοὺς ὑπ’ αὐτῆς πληττομένους, τὸ σκληρὸν καὶ ἀνένδοτον τῆς αὐτῶν καρδίας παρίστησιν.
