Καὶ ἔπεσον ἔμπροσθεν. Μὴ προσκύνει με, φησὶν, ὁ θεῖος Ἄγγελος ὡς τὰ μέλλοντα προλέγοντα· ἡ γὰρ εἰς Χριστὸν ὁμολογία, ἤγουν μαρτυρία αὕτη χορηγός ἐστι προφητικοῦ πνεύματος. καὶ ἑτέρως δὲ νοητέον, ὅτι διὰ τοῦτο ἡ προφητεία, ἵνα βεβαιωθῇ ἡ Χριστοῦ μαρτυρία καὶ ἡ πίστις ὑπὸ τῶν ἁγίων διαμαρτύρηται. διὸ μὴ τῷ συνδούλῳ προσ- κύνει, ἀλλὰ τῷ πάντων τὸ κράτος ἔχοντι.
