Μηδὲν φοβοῦ. Μῆ φοβηθῇς, φησι, τὴν ἐκ τῶν θεομάχων διὰ μαστίγων καὶ πειρασμῶν θλῖψιν, δεκαήμερος γὰρ αὕτη καὶ οὐ μακρόβιος, διὸ καταφρονητέος ὁ θάνατος, ὡς ἐν ὀλίγῳ προξενῶν στέφανον ζωῆς ἀμάραντον. Ὁ ἔχων οὖς ἀκουσάτω. Ὁ πνευματικῶς, φησιν, ἀκούων καὶ νικῶν τὰς διαβολικὰς ὑποσπορᾶς, εἰ καὶ τὸν πρῶτον διὰ σαρκὸς ὑποστῇ θάνατον, ὑπὸ τοῦ δευτέρου τῆς γεέννης οὐκ ἀδικηθήσεται.
