Καὶ εἶδον Ἄγγελον καταβαίνοντα. Ἐνταῦθα τὴν ἐν τῷ δεσποτικῷ πάθει τοῦ διαβόλου διηγεῖται καθαίρεσιν, ἐν ᾧ καταδεδίκασται εἰς τὴν ἄβυσσον καὶ εἰς τὴν γέενναν. Ἄγγελον δὲ τῇ τοιαύτῃ ἀποφάσει διακονούμενον φησι ἵνα δείξῃ καὶ τῶν λειτουργικῶν δυνάμεων τοῦτον ἥττονα κατὰ δύναμιν. ἅλυσιν δὲ πρὸς ἡμετέραν σαφήνειαν ὠνόμασε τὴν καθεκτικὴν αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρίας ἐνέργειαν.
