Ὁ νικῶν· οὗτος. Ὁ τὴν προλεχθεῖσαν, φησὶ, νίκην νικῶν τοῖς τῶν οἰκείων ἀρετῶν ἱματίοις λάμψει ὡς ὁ ἥλιος, καὶ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ τῶν ζώντων βίβλῳ ἔσται ἀνεξάλειπτον. ὁμολογηθήσεται δὲ ἐπὶ τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ τῶν ἁγίων δυνάμεων, ὥσπερ καὶ οἱ ἅγιοι μάρτυρες, καθώς φησι καὶ ἐν τῷ Εὐαγγελίῳ, “ ἐκλάμψειν τοὺς δικαίους ὡς τὸν “ ἥλιον ἐν τῆ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν.”
