Καὶ ᾄδουσι καινὴν ᾠδήν. Καινῆ δὲ ᾠδὴ, ἣν τῆς παλαιότητος τοῦ γράμματος ἀπαλλαγέντες οἱ ἐκ πάσης φυλῆς καὶ γλώσσης καταυγασθέντες, ᾄδειν ἐδιδάχθημεν διὰ τοῦ Πνεύματος, τῆς γῆς δὲ βασιλεύειν τούτους φησὶ τῆς καινῆς, ἢν ὁ Κύριος τοῖς πραέσιν ἐπηγγείλατο.
