Οὐδεὶς ἂν ῥύσαιτο ἡμᾶς ἢ μόνη σύ· παρέξει γάρ σοι Διονύσιος ἡδέως αἰτουμένῃ χάριν πρώτην.” Ὤκνει μὲν οὖν ἡ Καλλιρρόη βαδίσαι πρὸς αὐτόν, λιπαρούσης δὲ καὶ δεομένης ἀντειπεῖν οὐκ ἐδυνήθη, προηνεχυριασμένη ταῖς εὐεργεσίαις ὑπ’ αὐτῆς. Ἵν’ οὖν μὴ ἀχάριστος δοκῇ “κἀγὼ μὲν” φησὶν “εἰμὶ δούλη καὶ οὐδεμίαν ἔχω παρρησίαν, εἰ δὲ ὑπολαμβάνεις δυνήσεσθαί τι κἀμέ, συνικετεύειν ἑτοίμη· γένοιτο δὲ ἡμᾶς τυχεῖν.” Ἐπεὶ δὲ ἦλθον,
