Ταύτην τὴν ἐπιστολὴν ἔδωκεν Ὑγίνῳ τῷ πιστοτάτῳ, ὃν καὶ διοικητὴν εἶχεν ἐν Καρίᾳ τῆς ὅλης οὐσίας, παραγυμνώσας αὐτῷ καὶ τὸν ἴδιον ἔρωτα. Ἔγραψε δὲ καὶ αὐτὸς πρὸς Καλλιρρόην, εὔνοιαν ἐπιδεικνύμενος αὐτῇ καὶ κηδεμονίαν, ὅτι δι’ ἐκείνην Χαιρέαν ἔσωσε, καὶ συμβουλεύων μὴ ὑβρίσαι τὸν πρῶτον ἄνδρα, ὑπισχνούμενος αὐτὸς στρατηγήσειν ὅπως ἀλλήλους ἀπολάβωσιν, ἂν καὶ τὴν ἐκείνης προσλάβῃ ψῆφον.
