Ἐξῄεσαν οὖν τοῦ δικαστηρίου οἱ μὲν ἄλλοι πάντες σκυθρωποί, μόνος δὲ Μιθριδάτης γεγηθώς. Λαβὼν δὲ τὰ δῶρα καὶ τὴν νύκτα καταμείνας ἕωθεν εἰς Καρίαν ὥρμησε λαμπρότερος ἢ πρόσθεν.
