ἀνέλῃ.” Ἔτι δὲ ἂν ἐλάλουν αἱ γυναῖκες καὶ ἔκλαον καὶ ἀλλήλας κατεφίλουν, εἰ μὴ παρήγγειλαν οἱ κυβερνῆται τὴν ἀναγωγήν. Μέλλουσα δὲ ἐμβαίνειν εἰς τὴν τριήρη ἡ Καλλιρρόη τὴν Ἀφροδίτην προσεκύνησε. “Χάρις σοι” φησὶν “ὦ δέσποινα, τῶν παρόντων. Ἤδη μοι διαλλάττῃ· δὸς δέ μοι καὶ Συρακούσας ἰδεῖν. Πολλὴ μὲν ἐν μέσῳ θάλασσα, καὶ ἐκδέχεταί με φοβερὰ πελάγη, πλὴν οὐ φοβοῦμαι σοῦ μοι
