(9) ταῦτ’ εἰ λέγοι, τί ἂν ἀποκριναίμην πρὸς αὐτὴν δίκαιον; ἐγὼ μὲν γὰρ οὐδὲν ὁρῶ. ἀλλὰ μὴν εὖ ἴσθι, ὡς ἐγὼ ταῦτα πρὸς ἐμαυτὸν ἀεὶ λέγω (λέγει γὰρ ἕκαστος πρὸς ἑαυτὸν ἃ φρονεῖ ) καὶ οὐκ ἄν ποτε αὐτῶν ἀπολειφθείην. ὥστε οὐδέν σοι δέος ἐξ ἡμῶν εὔλογον· οὐδὲ γὰρ οὐδ’ ἅψεται τῶν σῶν πραγμάτων ἡ ἐμὴ ἡσυχία.
