Syrianus in Aristot. Metaphys. (Aristot. Acad. V 911a 28). ὅταν δὲ λέγωσι (scil. Pythagorei) μονάδα εἶναι εἰδῶν εἶδος τὴν ἀρχηγικὴν αὐτῶν αἰτίαν ἐνδείκνυνται τὴν πάντων ἐν ἑαυτῇ τὰ εἴδη τῶν ἀριθμῶν προειληφυῖαν, ἣν καὶ οἱ ἀπὸ τῆς Στοᾶς ἓν πλῆθος οὐκ ὤκνουν καλεῖν.
