Simplicius in Aristot. categ. f. 62 Γ ed. Bas. καὶ γὰρ οἱ ἀπὸ τῆς Στοᾶς πρὸς μὲν τὰς τέχνας ἐπιτηδειότητα μόνην ἀπέλιπον τὴν ἁπλῶς οὑτωσὶ θεωρουμένην, πρὸς δὲ τὰς ἀρετὰς τὴν ἀξιόλογον προκοπὴν ἐκ φύσεως προϋπάρχειν ἀπεφήναντο, ἣν καὶ οἱ ἀπὸ τοῦ Περιπάτου φυσικὴν ἀρετὴν ἐκάλουν.
