Πάλιν δὲ ὡσαύτως μὲν τῶν δωδεκατημορίων ἀπένειμαν τῇ φύσει τῇ ἀρρενικῇ καὶ ἡμερινῇ, ἓξ δὲ τῇ θηλυκῇ καὶ νυκτερινῇ. καὶ ἡ μὲν τάξις αὐτοῖς ἐδόθη παρ’ ἓν διὰ τὸ συνεζεῦχθαι καὶ ἐγγὺς ἀεὶ τυγχάνειν τὴν ἡμέραν τῇ νυκτὶ καὶ τὸ θῆλυ τῷ ἄρρενι.
