Τῶν δὲ μετὰ τὴν γένεσιν συμπτωμάτων ἡγεῖται μὲν ὁ περὶ χρόνων ζωῆς λόγος, ἐπειδήπερ κατὰ τὸν ἀρχαῖον γελοῖόν ἐστι τὰ καθ’ ἕκαστα τῶν ἀποτελουμένων ἐφαρ- μόζειν τῷ μηδ’ ὅλως ἐκ τῆς τῶν βιωσίμων ἐτῶν ὑποστάσεως ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀποτελεστικοὺς αὐτῶν χρόνους ἥξοντι.
