Κατ’ ἐκείνου δὲ καιροῦ ὁ κόμης τῶν ὀφφικίων Πούβλιος Τορκουτιανὸς ἑωρακὼς ἀναρίθμητον πληθὺν τῷ Χριστῷ πιστεύσασαν προσεκαλέσατο τοὺς προστάτας τῶν ῥεγεώνων, καὶ δεδωκῶς αὐτοῖς χρήματα ἔπεισεν αὐτοὺς, ἵνα τάραχον κινήσωσιν τῷ χριστιανικῷ ὀνόματι.
