Ἀναψάμενοι τοίνυν τῆς ἀρχῆς τοῦ φωτὸς ἐκείνου ἐκ τοῦ πόθου τοῦ περὶ αὐτὸ αὐτῷ ὡς ἔνι μάλιστα ἐξομοιοῦσθαι πειρώμενοι, φωτὸς ἔμπλεοι, φῶτες Ἰσραηλῖται τῷ ὄντι γινόμεθα. φίλους γὰρ εἶπεν καὶ ἀδελφοὺς τοὺς ἐχομένους τῆς πρὸς τὸ θεῖον ἀφομοιώσεως κατὰ ἐπιθυμίαν καὶ δίωξιν.
