Φύεται δὲ καὶ βοτάνη (sc. ἐν Ἰνδῷ), Καρπύκη καλουμένη, βουγλώσσῳ παρόμοιος· ποιεῖ δ ̓ ἄριστα πρὸς ἰκτερικοὺς μεθ ̓ ὕδατος χλιαροῦ διδομένη τοῖς πάσχουσι· καθὼς ἱστορεῖ Κλειτοφῶν ὁ Ῥόδιος ἐν ι’ Ἰνδικῶν.
