ἐγὼ [ὦ τέκνον] καὶ τῆς φιλανθρωπίας ἕνεκα καὶ τῆς πρὸς τὸν θεὸν εὐσεβείας ⎡πρῶτον τόδε συγγράφω⎤. οὐδεμία γὰρ ἂν ⎡γένοιτο δικαιοτιάτη εὐσέβεια [ἢ] τοῦ νοῆσαι τὰ ὄντα καὶ χάριν τῷ ποιήσαντι ὑπὲρ τούτων ὁμολογῆσαι· ὅπερ διατελῶν οὐ παύσομαι.
