Κρέων δὲ ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ τῶν Κυπριακῶν κορδύλην φησὶ καλεῖσθαι τὸ πρὸς κεφαλῇ (κεφαλῆς Suid.) προσείλημα, ὃ δὴ παρὰ Ἀθηναίοις καλεῖται κρώβυλον, παρὰ δὲ Πέρσαις κιδάριον (νιδάριον Suid.).
