Mt 24, 45—47 Πιστὸς μὲν εἰς διδασκαλίας, φρόνιμος δὲ εἰς ἔργον καὶ τῶν ὁμοδούλων ταμίας ἐπιεικέστατος· ἔσται γὰρ ὁ τοιοῦτος τῆς τοῦ δεσπότου βασιλείας ὁλοκλήρου μέτοχος· τοῦτο γὰρ δηλοῖ τὸ ἐπὶ πᾶσιν τοῖς ὑπάρχουσιν αὐτοῦ καταστήσει αὐτόν. οὐ λέγει τίς ἐστιν οὗτος, ἀλλ' ἀορίστως, ἵνα δείξῃ τὸ σπάνιον καὶ τὸ πολυτίμιον τῶν ὀρθῶν διδασκάλων. καλῶς δὲ ἀμφότερα ἀπαιτεῖν—ἂν δὲ θάτερον ἀπῇ, τὸ ἕτερον χωλεύει.
