Idem I, 987: Χυτὸς λιμὴν ἐν Κυζίκῳ οὕτω καλούμενος. Ἐπεχείρησαν γὰρ οἱ Πελασγοὶ χῶσαι αὐτὸν, ὥς φησι Δηίλοχος, κατὰ ἔχθος τὸ πρὸς τοὺς Θεσσαλοὺς, ὑφ' ὧν ἐξεβέβληντο. Οὗτος δὲ (sc. Ἀπολλώνιος) ὑπὸ τῶν Γηγενῶν φησι κεχῶσθαι αὐτὸν, ποιητικῶς.
