Suidas s. Δημάδης gl. 1: Ἀθηναῖος· ῥήτωρ καὶ δημαγωγός, πανοῦργος καὶ εὐτυχής, πρότερον ναύτης ὤν. ἔγραψεν Ἀπολογισμὸν πρὸς Ὀλυμπιάδα τῆς ἑαυτοῦ δωδεκαετίας· Ἱστορίαν περὶ Δήλου καὶ τῆς γενέσεως τῶν Λητοῦς παίδων. οὗτος κατέλυσε τὰ δικαστήρια καὶ τοὺς ῥητορικοὺς ἀγῶνας. τελευτᾶι δὲ ἐπὶ Ἀντιπάτρου.
