οὐκ ἐγὼ ταῦτα συνεβούλευον, ἀλλʼ ἡ πατρίς, ὁ καιρός, τὰ πράγματα διὰ τῆς ἐμῆς φωνῆς ἠξίου ταῦτα πράττειν· οὐ δίκαιον οὖν τὸν σύμβουλον καιρῶν εὐθύνας ὑπέχειν καὶ ὧν ἐν τῇ τύχῃ τὸ τέλος.
