Steph.: Ὀλιζὼν, πόλις Θεσσαλίας ... Ὠνομάσθη δὲ
ἀπὸ τοῦ μικρὰ εἶναι. Θεσσαλοὶ γὰρ, ὡς ἱστορεῖ Δη-
μοσθένης ἐν Κτίσεσι, τὸ μικρὸν ὄλιζον καλοῦσι. Τὸ
ἐθνικὸν Ὀλιζώνιος.
