εὐθὺς οὖν καὶ αὐτῷ τινες προσῆλθον, τῶν μὲν Κορινθίων οὐδείς· οὐδὲ γὰρ ᾤοντο οὐδὲν ὠφεληθήσεσθαι, ὅτι καθʼ ἡμέραν ἑώρων αὐτὸν ἐν Κορίνθῳ· τῶν δὲ ξένων ἦσαν οἱ προσιόντες, καὶ τούτων ἕκαστος βραχύ τι εἰπὼν ἢ ἀκούσας ἀπῄει, φοβούμενος τὸν ἔλεγχον.
