ὡς οὐκ ἄξιον ὄντα βασιλεύειν οὐδὲ κοινωνεῖν τῆς αὑτοῦ τιμῆς καὶ ἐπωνυμίας, μετά τε αἰσχύνης καὶ προπηλακισμοῦ, καθάπερ οἶμαι Φάλαρίν τε καὶ Ἀπολλόδωρον καὶ πολλοὺς ἄλλους τῶν ὁμοίων.
