EX INCERTIS FABULIS.
Μηδείς ποθ' ὑμῶν, ἄνδρες, ἐπιθυμησάτω
γέρων γενέσθαι, προνοησάτω δ' ὅπως
νέος ὢν ἀγαθόν τι τῇ ψυχῇ παθών
ὥρᾳ καταλύσει, μηδ' ἀγόμφιόν ποτε
αἰῶνα τρίψει.
