νὴ Δία, ἀλλὰ Νικίας ὑπὲρ Συρακοσίων ἐπολιτεύσατο καὶ μόνος συνεβούλευσε μὴ πολεμεῖν. τὸν μὲν ἐκεῖ γεγενημένον λόγον ἀκούομεν, τὰ δʼ ἐνταῦθα πεπραγμένα τεθεωρήκαμεν.
