τοσούτοις δὴ καὶ τηλικούτοις ἀνδράσι παραδείγμασι χρώμενος καὶ παρὰ πάντας τῷ μεγίστῳ Πλάτωνι οὐδὲν ἡγούμην τῆς φιλοσόφου ῥητορικῆς ποιεῖν ἀλλότριον ἀγαθοὺς ἀγαθοῖς ἀντεξετάζων. περὶ μὲν οὖν τῆς προαιρέσεως, ἣν ἔσχον ἐν τῇ συγκρίσει τῶν χαρακτήρων, ἱκανῶς ἀπολελόγημαι καὶ σοί, Γεμῖνε φίλτατε.
