Ἔνθα νῦν ἡ Χώνη ἐστὶ, χωρίον ἦν πρῶτον λεγόμενον Οἰνωτρία, ὅπου ὁ Φιλοκτήτης κατῴκησε μετὰ τὴν τῆς Ἰλίου πόρθησιν, καθὰ Διονύσιος καὶ Δίων ὁ Κοκκειανὸς καὶ πάντες οἱ τὰ τῶν Ῥωμαἴων γράψαντες ἱστοροῦσι.
